Destin West Escapes proudly presents Heron L01 at Destin West Beach & Bay Resort. It is a fully renovated four-bedroom, three-bathroom corner residence built for large families who want space, privacy, and resort amenities in one stay. Inside are 2,417 sq ft of heated and cooled living space. Outside is a 1,400 sq ft private lanai with its own hot tub, gas grill, and direct bay views. Very few properties on Okaloosa Island offer this much space, private outdoor living, and resort access in one place.

The oversized same-level lanai is where this home truly shines. It sits just high enough for beautiful bay views, and the bay is only steps away. Choose the covered section for shade or the open section for sun, all on one level.

RESORT AMENITIES, INCLUDING THE 700-FOOT LAZY RIVER
Destin West offers one of the best combinations of location and amenities on Okaloosa Island. The best amenities are on the bay side, right outside your door:
- A 700-foot lazy river, about three times the size of the next-closest in the area
- A large zero-entry pool, plus a private Heron-only pool (heated seasonally)
- A second large pool with a waterfall between two expansive hot tubs
- A private fishing pier

The gulf side adds a fitness center, a large pool, another hot tub, and the beach itself. A private walkover connects both sides, so you never need to drive or cross a road.

WHY HERON?
Destin West has two sides. The gulf-side buildings were completed in 2002 with basic developer finishes. Their largest unit is about 1,279 sq ft. On the bay side, Heron and Osprey are the premier buildings. Both sit directly on the bay and were completed in 2006, with units from about 1,567 sq ft up to Heron L01 at 2,417 sq ft. Heron is also the closer of the two to the beach walkover.

WALK EVERYWHERE
The beach is a 7–10 minute walk with no traffic to cross. Within about a quarter mile you'll find eight restaurants, the convention center, boat and jet ski rentals, the Okaloosa County Pier, and Wild Willy's Adventure Zone. A 4-mile stretch of undeveloped beach is nearby, and the Destin Harbor and downtown Fort Walton Beach, with 25+ more restaurants, are both less than five miles away.

Ali's Bistro serves solid Italian with a nice happy hour. Grab doughnuts at Parlor Doughnuts, hit the food trucks next to the library, and coffee at Maas Coffee Roasters. The farmers market runs the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 8 AM to 1 PM. A little past downtown, The Bavarian's Wirtshaus serves authentic German food.

Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $150.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation.
